OK I lied…
Technically I just vaped the best weed I ever bought from a Vancouver dispensary or any dispensary for that matter.
So that may have something to do with my memory not being what it used to be, for some reason…… or it could have something to do with the 24.2% THC.
Now, generally I don’t buy super expensive weed from brick and mortar pot shops because I find online options to be cheaper, but I felt like something special.
And so on the recommendation of the dude working in City Cannabis on Robson St. I picked up 3.5g of Dream by Doja and it is honestly a really awesome euphoric yet energetic high.
First off the smell is amazing, and I don’t usually care about the smell, but this super sour sativa has this really strong citrus smell, similar in a way to Sour Diesel in a way but different. It’s hard to describe honestly!
But most importantly it’s potency is very high and I also got very high…. from one bag of my Volcano and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t get stoned all that easily anymore.
Again the very friendly staff at City Cannabis told me that Dream is a strain from Kelowna and can only be purchased in British Columbia. It’s quite expensive at $54.88 after tax for the 3.5g container. I’d love to see if there are places either online or in person where I can buy Dream weed in bulk. I’ll keep you posted if I do and feel free to message the page and let me know if you see any!
I just picked up 2 ounces of Zombie OG and Cactus Breath from Shamrock Cannabis for $165 after tax with a discount so I think I’m pretty well stocked for a while!
Still good to know there is some really awesome premium strains that you can’t get anywhere but BC.
The best ounce I’ve ever tried was a Sativia/OS Reserve mix from Choom Dispensary over on 2nd Ave which is still the best half ounce of weed I’ve bought in a Vancouver dispensary to date. It cost $218 for the ounce but it was an amazing high for the price.
Their new Yaletown location that opens in 2021 will hopefully be carrying it too. They should!
Note: Prices quoted in Canadian dollar obviously!
